Having started my career in barbering in Australia in 1998, I returned home to Wales to persue my passion for the industry with the hope of owning my own salon one day. It wasn't long before that very opportunity arrived for me when I was offered to take over Just Jents at the ripe old age of 23 and I have never looked back. 

I have developed the business and it has grown from strength to strength with the help and encouragement of my family and so many of my regular clients, many of whom have been with me since day one.

I love the industry for its ever changing style and diversity as no two days are the same and I am proud to have evolved the salon to where it is today.

After spending many years raising my family and working as a waitress in the evenings, I decided it was time I started a new career. Barbering has always interested me, therefore I decided to go back to college to persue a career in it. 

Whilst working towards my Level 1, I had some experience working in a local barbers, but it wasn't until I got a placement at Just Jents at the start of my Level 2 that I felt really comfortable and I knew then that Just Jents was where I wanted to work.

Jen helped me gain confidence and perfect my skill in this highly demanding industry, and after completing my Level 2 I was offered a full time position.

The socialising with customers and the challenge of keeping up with the new styles and trends is what makes this job most enjoyable to me.

Sarah

I have been a fully qualified barber for over 20 years. I completed my NVQ in Llandrillo college and have previously worked in Just Jents where I stayed for 10 years. I left in 2014 to concetrate on raising my family. While my children were young, I took a job in a school as the hours suited me at the time, but I always missed Barbering.

I have kept up to date with techniques and trends over the years by doing some mobile work and cutting friends and family's hair and now that my children are older I am eager to return to barbering on a more regular basis, and I am delighted to be returning to Just Jents.

I love the creativity and social aspect of the trade and I'm looking forward to seeing all the regular customers again as well as meeting new ones.
